Mango Lassi

Mango lassi (smoothie) is a refreshing and scrumptious drink. It can be enjoyed in summer when fresh mangoes are available or can also be made with mango pulp at any time of the year.

Ingredients (for 1 glass):
1/2 glass plain yogurt
1 ripe mango
1/4 glass water
1 tsp sugar (optional)
2-3 ice cubes

Method:
Peel the mango, chop it into medium size pieces, and discard the seed. If fresh mango is not available, use a little less than 1/2 a glass of mango pulp. Put all the ingredients in the mixer except ice and blend well. Pour in a glass, add ice cubes (for chilled lassi), and serve.
