Prevention is better than cure. Go for an annual health checkup that covers most of the tests recommended by your doctor. There are some basic tests that are done through blood work. Other specialized tests can be done after the doctor's advice. Check your vitamin B12 and vitamin D too.
Go for dental checkups and dental cleaning once or twice a year.
Our body gives us warning signs, sometimes much before the actual problem is experienced. We shouldn’t ignore these signs at any cost otherwise it can become a bigger/irreversible problem later.
Below are some warning signals that should be watched out for and get a doctor’s opinion so that the treatment can start early -
Starting from the head, press each and every part of your body with your hand and note down the areas of pain. In our daily routine, we don’t realize the pain till it becomes prominent
Long-lasting pain in any body part
Sudden pain or discomfort which lies for a short span but is experienced regularly
Watch out for ridges, cracks, grooves, or decoloration in the nails
Any swelling, patch, or lump in any part of the body
Loss of appetite
Excessive hair fall
Joints pain
Know your body and do self-examination from time to time. Stay alert and stay healthy!!
