Moong dal and Quinoa Chilla

This is healthy quinoa and yellow moong dal chilla (savory pancake) that can be made for breakfast or any meal. This chilla is rich in fiber, protein, and carbohydrates.
Ingredients
1 cup quinoa
1 cup yellow moong dal (yellow lentil)
1 inch of ginger
1 onion chopped
1 green chili
2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp allspice (garam masala) powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp salt
sesame/coconut oil/ghee to cook
Method:
Wash quinoa and moong dal together. Soak for a couple of hours in 4 cups of water. Grind the soaked quinoa and moong dal with ginger and green chili along with the water to get a dosa-like consistency batter. Mix other ingredients as well.
On a flat pan, brush some oil and add a big ladle of this batter, and spread like a dosa. Let it cook for about 20 seconds on a medium to high flame till it’s golden brown and flip. Cook on the other side as well. This chilla will be soft in texture.
Serve with any veggie side dish or chutney or tomato ketchup.
