Sweet potato patties

Ingredients:
1/2 kg sweet potato
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1 green chili chopped
1 onion chopped
1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
1 tsp garam masala (all spice powder)
salt to taste
sesame oil/olive oil to shallow fry
Method:
Wash and boil the sweet potatoes. Let them cool, peel the skin, mash them, and transfer to a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients above except oil and mix well. Make round shape patties or tikki. On a flat cast iron pan, brush a little oil and add the patties. Let them brown on a medium flame, flip them and brush oil on the other side too. Let them get brown and crispy. Take these out on a plate.
Sweet potato patties are a good replacement for potato patties and can be used in the same way for sandwiches and burgers or can be just had with chutney or ketchup.
