These are made with whole wheat flour and fenugreek/methi leaves.

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 small bunch of fenugreek/methi leaf

2 tbsp yogurt

water to knead

½ tsp rock salt powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder (optional)

sesame oil or ghee

Method:

Pluck methi leaves from the stems and discard the stems. Wash the leaves well with water and chop the leaves. Mix all the above ingredients except water and oil. Add little water at a time and knead the dough such that the dough is neither hard nor soft. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes. Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll it into thin circles with a little flour, and cook it on a flat pan with little ghee/sesame oil, flip, and apply a little oil on the other side. Ensure that it is cooked on both sides. Makes about 10-12 tortillas/chapatis.

Have it with veggies or simply roll and have it with any chutney.
