Churma is a sweet dish made with crumbled whole wheat rotis, sugar, and ghee. I like to add jaggery powder to sweeten it instead of sugar. Leftover rotis work great for churma.

Ingredients:

4 leftover roti
4 tsp ghee
4 tsp jaggery powder
2 tsp white sesame seeds
Cardamom powder and crushed dry fruits (optional)

Method:

Rotis at room temperature work best. Crumble rotis with hand or coarse grind in the mixer.

Add hot ghee, jaggery powder, sesame seeds and mix well. The optional ingredients can be added too, if you like. This is a sweet dish that can be had for breakfast too.

This is a dish where the other ingredients mentioned above can be adjusted as per taste. If more ghee or sweetness is desired, ghee or jaggery powder can be added accordingly. The above quantity is for 4 rotis, but again the ingredients can be altered to the liking.
