This pizza is made using homemade roti/chapati from whole wheat flour, is a healthy alternative to store-bought pizzas, and it's rich in fiber, and calcium.
Ingredients:
For 2 thin crust medium size pizza -
2 whole wheat tortillas/roti
100 gm paneer/cottage cheese
1 small onion
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tsp of any pizza sauce
1 tsp oregano
1/2 red chilli flakes (optional)
1 tsp olive oil
Method:
Make fresh whole wheat tortilla (roti/chapati) first. Let it cool down.
Cut the paneer and onion in cubes.
Spread the pizza sauce on the tortillas.
Put paneer and onions over that. Sprinkle cheese, oregano, and chilli flakes on top of that.
On a flat pan, spread the olive oil with a silicon brush and place the pizza on top. Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat until the cheese melts. Make sure that the pizza doesn't get burnt from the base so adjust the flame accordingly. If you want crispy pizza, switch off the flame and leave the pizza on the pan for a few minutes. Cook the 2nd pizza in the same way.
Enjoy the crunchy paneer and onion pizzas :)
